USA REGIONS MAP PROJECT

Learning objectives


Students will be able to use the directions to describe the positions of various regions in the United States. Students will be able to identify the unique characteristics of that region. Students will be able to construct written descriptions about regions in the United States.

Within your group, assign each student a state within the region. Your task is to make a 5 slides presentation representing your region. Each slide with cover a specific topic, and your job is to create a visual and text-based summary of the characteristics of your region for each category. In many ways, it’s like a travel brochure for your region.

Chapter 7 Sections: (the 3 "other" sections by Sunday night)
Section #1 (Northeast) page 160
Section #2 (South) page 166
Section #3 (Midwest) page 170
Section #4 (West) page 176
All section have question #1-5, you only need to do the sections other than the one you were assigned in the Regions project....so if you are assigned the South for your regions project, you don't have to do the sectional questions on the South, but have to do the other 3

MONDAY -  USA POLITICAL AND PHYSICAL MAP TEST (you will turn-in your maps on that day)

TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY - USA HISTORY TEST and CHAPTER 7 TEST
