Rwanda Genocide

Objective: Provided background information regarding the Rwanda conflict students will be able to gather information in a scavenger hunt process to piece together the events which led to one of the worst genocides in modern day.

Rationale: Understanding the effects of Colonialism on the native tribes within Africa, will allow students to view the effects of one countries actions on two seemingly peaceful tribes that existed in the country for some time.

Evidence: By understanding the conflict that Imperialism can cause, students will be able to articulate the effects of one countries ambition on the native people of the land they occupy.
